Have Fun
The problem we have with North American Asian culture/entertainment magazines is that most take themselves too seriously, or only cover a small segment of life. Why is it that the only music you hear about is "indie" Asian artist who are so cool because of how underground they are? At morning, we love everything, be it the indie stuff, or pop fluff. Something doesn't have to be serious or non-commercial to be enjoyable.
Be Equal
Why do most video game and electronics magazines come off as being boy's clubs? Women DO like games, they DO like electronics, they DO enjoy a lot of the things guys also enjoy. More and more, women are getting more into these kinds of things, so there's no reason that a magazine should always be so female unfriendly.
Be Ourselves
We aren't expert journalists or anything - we're simply fans of what we're writing about. Our goal isn't to write five-page essays about a product and have the reader end up not really knowing if it was worth checking out or not. Of course, we're going to try to write articles, editorials, and reviews that are interesting to read, but we also want to have fun and give our true opinions on things.
